For the rust removal process, why not electrolyze at least the big parts instead of only sandblasting them? And it might be better to use powder coats instead of spraypaint.

We have one of these exact mills at home. Works really well in spite of the age. Except that we use it for pepper not coffee.

I know it is two years ago, but I just saw this for the first time. I thought the restored jack looked very nice. Then, of course, you made an adjustable table with it, which I think looks amazing! It is a very nice style and would look good anywhere from a garage or workshop to something classy like a gentleman's den. Top notch work!

Nice restore. BTW - these blades are sharpened by peening the edge then the edge refined with a honing stone. You should never have to grind the edge as it could harden the metal and make it brittle.

Какое замечательное механическое устройство! Даже не думала, что такое существует в природе - мы 30 лет назад детьми у бабушки в деревне взбивали настоящее масло в специальной ступе, это было дело не лёгкое, руки уставали быстро! А тут ручечку покрутил и готово - магия))) Зато какое это было масло! Вкус помню до сих пор! В российских магазинах у нас нет такого ни одной торговой марки!

I always love watching these as i go to bed. They are so relaxing and when i cant keep my eyes open any more I pause them and in the morning i get to see the beautifully completed and functioning machine. Its a wonderful way to start the day
